Gradually, observation turned into a search.

I began comparing different periods and paying closer attention to my own condition.

The most interesting thing was that the unusual gradually became ordinary.

What had initially surprised me eventually became part of everyday life.

But becoming accustomed to a phenomenon does not mean understanding it.

The question of its cause remained.
